My path to real estate wasn’t planned—it unfolded through big moves and one surprising spark of inspiration.
My love for real estate started in the most unexpected way—by watching shows on HGTV about all aspects of real estate. I found myself captivated by the transformations and the creativity involved, and something in me just knew I’d enjoy selling real estate. So I followed that hunch, got my license, and I was right—I loved it.
It started in high school, when my dad was in the Air Force and got stationed in West Germany. Leaving Arizona, I had to adapt, and it turned into an incredible experience. I stayed in Germany for ten years, built a life there, and had two of my children before eventually returning to the States—first the East Coast, then Arizona, where most of my family lives.
Before real estate, my career path looked very different. I worked in the medical and dental fields. During that time, I became skilled in management, becoming the practice administrator —hiring, bookkeeping, and running a medical office from top to bottom. When someone approached me to manage a home-care agency for the elderly, I saw the demand and thought, Why not start my own? So in 2010, I opened a faith-based home-care agency.
Those years taught me more than I ever expected. Caring for the elderly at the end of their lives was humbling and deeply meaningful. My team fed them, bathed them, cleaned, prayed with their families—whatever was needed. I bonded with patients and stood with their loved ones when the end came. It was incredibly rewarding, but that idea of real estate was still calling me.
So, after much deliberation I sold the business, took a leap of faith, and got my license in 2014. It turned out to be one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Real estate doesn’t feel like work to me—it feels fun. Quickly I studied for and obtained my GRI (Graduate REALTOR® Institute) designation wanting to advance my new career that I love.
Today, my children—Matthias, Mikel, and Mariah—are grown, and I have six grandchildren who bring so much joy into my life. I met the love of my life, Charles, while living in Virgina, in 2000. We love to travel and spend time with family.
Looking back, every chapter—Germany, the medical world, my home-care business—led me to the work I was meant to do and for that I couldn’t be more grateful.
As a licensed REALTOR®, broker, and mortgage loan originator, I bring a comprehensive understanding of every step in the buying and selling process. Real estate is my full-time commitment, and I hold myself to the highest standards—no short cuts, no half-truths, no exaggerations. I follow the rules to the letter because protecting my clients from risk and potential legal issues is a responsibility I take seriously.
One of my greatest strengths is listening to my clients' needs. I know how to position a property, so my clients make more than they would on their own. My negotiation skills are unmatched; I break down every offer so clients understand exactly what’s on the table, and I advocate fiercely to secure the best possible price and terms. I attend every signing appointment, stay on top of timelines, and keep the entire process organized and on track.
I guide and educate my clients with the goal of teaching them the process, offering support while preserving their autonomy. Beyond the transaction, I’m a reliable resource with a network of trusted vendors for anything they may need—real estate related or not.
